  • Telling Your Social Innovation Fund Story

Session Description: CNCS staff will introduce the new SIF communications toolkit with branding and messaging guidance for SIF grantees to use when telling their Social Innovation Fund story, throughout the cycle of their grant. Grantees will engage in an interactive session to learn how to effectively communicate important aspects of their project with key influencers beyond their local communities. There will be tips for sharing a compelling and impactful story with strategies and examples of effective messaging using easily shareable content.

  • Sharing Results to Effect Change

Session Description: CNCS staff will lead an interactive discussion with grantees on how to share evaluation findings to effect change at the local and national level. Taking a look at the recent evaluation report from REDF, the Edna McConnell Clark Foundation and the upcoming evaluation reports from the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City and AIDS United, grantees will explore different strategies for sharing complex results to key stakeholders that goes beyond the beneficiary success story.

  • Received local coverage from The Afro-American newspaper and a proclamation from Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley.
